We support missionaries and mission efforts from a wide variety of groups. We are for any organization that has at its heart the mission of the great commission. We believe that cooperation among churches makes for greater strength and growth. We are affiliated with the Conemaugh Valley Baptist Association, The Baptist Convention of Pennslyvania/South Jersey, the Southern Baptist Convention, and with a number of Baptist Fellowships and Mission Boards. Through these cooperative efforts we are able to support the work of over 10,000 missionaries in 113 countries, including the United States. Our ministries include the operation of publications, colleges, universities, seminaries, hospitals, retirement centers, hunger and relief work and the establishment of new churches. Five important things to look for in the goals and aims of mission work:

* Gospel Centered—the primary goal is the communication of the whole gospel.
* Culturally Wise—realization that western culture and gospel truth are mutually exclusive.
* Organizationally Strategic—willing to ignore traditional norms if they stand in the way of the gospel. Truth always trumps tradition.
* Ministry Focused— the question is always, how can we do a better job of getting out the gospel and reaching more souls for the kingdom of God.
* Missionary Concerned—Concern for the well being of the missionary is greater than concern for the well being of the “board.”

We support home and foreign missions through the love gifts of God’s people through Faith Promise Giving and special offerings throughout the year such as the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, and other Special Missionary Offerings.
